I couldn't believe how easy the Garage Shield was to install.  It took me a few minutes. I like that you can install it once and forget about it and use automatic garage door opener as usual.  It's not a device that has to be locked or unlocked, or turned on and off.  It does not prevent you from opening the door at any time using the remote or manually (by the lever).  As a single mom, I definitely feel more secure from home intrusions and burglaries.
